    The 2024 Korea-Africa Tourism Forum aims to lay the foundation for a robust and mutually beneficial tourism relationship, fostering lasting connections between the Republic of Korea and the diverse nations of Africa. The event mainly seeks to provide a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and partnerships to enhance the tourism sector's growth and sustainability. Featuring an insightful keynote presentation from UN Tourism, the forum will further showcase policy efforts on tourism governance, destination management and sub-regional cooperation of African countries through country presentations and a panel discussion.

ROK-Africa High Level Panel Discussion on Forestry and Desertification

    A high-level panel discussion will be held in Seoul to share successful reforestation projects in African drylands. The discussion will delve into the future of GDP projects, exploring their potential to combat desertification, restore landscapes, and promote local incomes.
    * Participants will embark on field trips to forestry project sites located on the outskirts of Seoul (June 4).
